Ingredients
- crumbled chocolate wafers
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 egg, well beaten
- dash of almond flavoring
- 1/2 pint heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Line an 8 x8 pan with crumbled chocolate wafers
Cream powdered sugar and butter. Add well-beaten eggs and cream again. Add almond flavoring. Spread over crumbs.
Beat heavy cream until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla. Add pecans and blend well into cream. Spread mixture over butter, egg and sugar layer.
Cover with crumbled chocolate wafers. Cover pan with waxed paper and refrigerate for 24 hours.
