Sauteed Cheese Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cups grated Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Butter for sautéing

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix together cheese, sour cream and egg yolks. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, mustard and pepper.

2. Beat in the flour. Melt butter in large skillet to depth of 1/2". Add a tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Saute until golden brown one side. Turn and saute on the other side.
