Ingredients

  • 3-10 oz bags clean fesh spinach, roughly chopped

  • 1

    C heavy cream

  • 1/4

    C butter

  • 2

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 3

    T minced white onion

  • 3

    oz provolone cheese

  • 1/2

    C shredded parmesan cheese

  • dash nutmeg

  • salt

  • pepper

Directions

1. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add spinach and cook until wilted, stirring contantly. Remove from the skillet and drain in a colander. Squeeze as much liquid as possible from spinach. 2. Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onions; cook and stir until tender, about 5 minutes. 3. Add spinach and heavy cream. Sprinkle in the provolone and stir to coat the spinach. 4. Once the provolone has melted, stir in the parmesan and continue to cook and stir until thickened. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
