Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts
- 5 cups tart apples, peeled and cut up
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/8 or 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. butter

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425
Combine sugar, salt, flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Mix apples in. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle lemon juice over the top. Dot apples with butter. Cover with tip crust, or lattice. Bake 45 mins or until apples are tender about 50-55 mins
