Crock Pot- Spiced Apple Butter Cider- Rum

Ingredients
- SPICED BUTTER:
- 8 Tablesp unsalted butter (1 stick) room temperature
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teasp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teasp ground cloves
- 1/8 teasp salt
- CIDER
- 1/2 gallon (64 oz) all natural apple cider
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teasp ground cinnamon
- 1 teasp ground nutmeg
- 1 teasp ground allspice
- 1/2 teasp ground cloves
- RUM- to taste
- spiced butter
- apple slices

Step 1
Spiced Butter:
Cobine All Ingredients under the Spiced Butter Ingredients. Butter, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves and Salt in a Bowl. Transfer to a Piece of Plastic Wrap. Form Butter into a Log. Wrap Plastic Wrap over Log and Secure. Place in Refrigerator until Ready to Use.
Cider:
In Crock Pot:
1- Pour Cider, and all Ingredients under the Cider Ingredients into Crock Pot (Except the Rum, Apple Slices and Spiced Butter). Cook on low for 1 hour.
2- Add Rum (To Taste) to Crock Pot until Heated. Do not Cook for too Long or the Alcohal will Evaporate.
3- Pour Cider into Heat-Proof Cups. Slice a Pat of Spiced Butter and Put into Individual Cup of Cider and Let it Dissolve. Garnish with a thin Slice of Apple and Attach to the Rim of the Cup.
