Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons bacon drippings
  • 1/2 cup green onions and tops, cut up
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups cooked long grain rice, Uncle Ben's
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1/2 lb. crisp bacon crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat bacon drippings in large skillet; add onions and celery. Cook till tender.
2. Add mushrooms, rice and soy sauce. Cook 5 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally.
3. Stir in beaten egg and cook only till egg is done.
4. Add bacon and mix well. Extra soy may be served with rice.
