Sliced Baked Potato

This is an easy recipe that blends the baked potato flavor with a crispy fried potato crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 Baking Potato
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Using a sharp kitchen knife, carefully start making a series of vertical cuts width-wise through the potato, making sure not to cut all the way through the potato. *The cuts should only be 3/4 of the way through the potato.*

Place the sliced potatoes on an baking sheet with the slices up, then drizzle olive oil over the top of the potato; Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake the potato for 50 minutes.

After the potato is done, add the toppings of your choice, such as shredded cheese, green onion, bacon, sour cream, etc.
