Ingredients

  • 6 cups Water
  • 6 Beef bouillon cubes
  • 1-28 oz canned tomatoes, mashed
  • 1-10oz can Tomato soup
  • 2 cups shredded carrot
  • 2 cups shredded potato
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup Pearl barley
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • 2 lbs hamburger, scramble fried

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve bouillon in first amount of water.

Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer slowly for about 1 1/2 hours.
