Homemade Blueberry Syrup

Ingredients
- 3 C blueberries
- 3 C granulated sugar
- 1 C water
- 1/4 C lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Wash and drain blueberries. Crush in a bowl or process in blender. Place puree in a glass or enamel pan and stir in sugar and water. Cover over medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring regularly. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Strain through coffee filter or cheese cloth, and pour into sterilized jar. Cool before using.
Use on pancakes, waffles, ice cream, other desserts, or in beverages.
