QUICKEST CHICKEN
No pre-browning. Just assemble, put in the oven and do other things while it cooks.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, halved, skin and bones removed
- salt, sprinkle
- pepper, sprinkle
- 2 x 10 canned whole mushrooms, drained
- 10 oz. condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sherry (or alcohol-free sherry)
Preparation
Step 1
Arrange chicken in quart casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Scatter mushrooms over top.
In bowl, stir soup, sour cream and flour together well.
Add sherry. Stir. Pour over top. Bake, uncovered. In 325 oven for about 1 1/2 hours until tender.
