Ingredients
- 1 6-oz. pkg chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Melt 1/3 c. chocolate chips.
Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
Stir in pecans and 2/3 c. chocolate chips. Set aside.
Combine flour, soda & salt.
Cream the 1/2 c. butter. Add sugar, then eggs. Blend in melted chocolate chips and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk & ending with dry ingredients.
Place into 13X9 cake pan hat has been buttered & floured. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes till toothpick comes clean.
Serve with Cool Whip.
