Ingredients

    loaves bread, cubed

  • 2

    stalks celery, chopped

  • 1

    medium onion, chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 2

    cans cream of chicken soup

  • 1

    cup butter

  • 1/2

    teaspoon thyme

  • 1/2

    can water

Directions

Melt the cup of oleo in a skillet and cook the celery and onion until tender. Add salt and pepper to taste and thyme. Add one half can Cream of Chicken soup. Put the bread cubes in a large bowl and pour the celery/onion mixture over and form into balls. Put into a greased casserole dish. Mix together 1-1/2 cans of cream of chicken soup and one half can of water. Pour over the stuffing balls. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes covered. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
