Buckeye chocolate cake

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • Icing:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 6 Tbsp. milk
  • 4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat butter, water, eggs, cocoa, and milk until bubbly. Add sugar, flour, baking soda, and vanilla. Bake in 9x13 pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool. Mix peanut butter with oil and spread over cooled cake. For icing, heat butter, cocoa, and milk until butter is melted. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Ice cake.
