Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup grape nuts cereal
  • 1/2 t. Ground ginger
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 T canola oil
  • 1 16 oz pkg. mixed dried fruit
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Non stick cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 8x8 pan with foil and coat with cooking
spray.
Combine oats, flours, cereal and ginger
Add egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, oil Mix well Stir in fruit, nuts
and chips Spread into prepared baking pan Bake for 30-35 minutes cool and
cut into bars Recipe can easily be doubled by using a larger pan and double
the ingredients.
