ROAST POTATOES # 2

get a roast potatoe flavor with or without a roast of meat

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes, medium size, peeled
  • water
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • salt, sprinkle
  • pepper, sprinkle
  • paprika, sprinkle

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes in water for 10 minutes. Drain.

Heat butter and cooking oil in casserole or small roaster, large enough to hold potatoes in single layer.

Place potatoes in pan, turning once to coat with butter mixture. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Cover. Bake in 375 oven for about 45 minutes until tender.
