Ingredients
- 2 cans (4 oz.) whole green chilies
- 1 lb. grated monterey jack cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Remove seeds from chilies. Cut pieces flat. Put 1 layer in greased 8” x 8” pan. Sprinkle with ½ the cheese. Spread rest of chilies, then the rest of the cheese.
Beat eggs until frothy. Add sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix. Pour over chili layers. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, until set. Cut into 1” squares.
