Ingredients

  • Layer 1:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (opt.)
  • Layer 2:
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • (Pineapple optional, not for choc. vers)
  • 1 sm can crushed pineapple, drained
  • Layer 3:
  • 2 sm pkgs chocolate INSTANT pudding or vanilla
  • 3 cups milk
  • Layer 4:
  • Cool Whip
  • Optional—
  • Sprinkle coconut, nuts,
  • Chopped chocolate on Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Layer 1:

Combine, til soft dough is formed, press into baking pan 8x8 or larger
Bake crust at 350, 20 minutes, cool
Layer 2:

Cream layer two ingredients together
Spread over layer one

Layer 3:

Mix carefully, messy….
Mix on medium til thick
Spread on top of layer 2

Layer 4:
Cool Whip
Optional—
Sprinkle coconut, nuts,
Chopped chocolate on
Cool Whip

Refrigerate
