WASABI SALMON SPREAD

Ingredients

  • 225 g skinless salmon fillets
  • Pinch salt
  • Half pkg (250 g pkg) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 tsp wasabi paste
  • 1/2 tsp sodium-reduced soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sriracha

Preparation

Step 1

Place salmon on parchment paper-lined baking sheet; sprinkle with salt. Bake in 350F oven until fish flakes easily when tested, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces.

In bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy; beat in sour cream. Stir in green onions, lemon juice, sesame oil, wasabi, soy sauce and sriracha; gently fold in salmon. Scrape into serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
