Ingredients
- 4 T. butter
- 1 T. oil
- 3 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut into pieces
- Salt & pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 can tomatoes (1 lb, 12 oz)
- 6 medium potatoes, quartered
- 1/2 t. oregano
- 1 pkg. frozen peas, defrosted but not cooked
Preparation
Step 1
In a large pan, heat the butter & oil. Season the steak with the salt & pepper & brown evenly in pan. Stir in garlic & tomatoes. Cover, simmer about 45 minutes. Add the potatoes and oregano. Simmer till potatoes are tender. Stir in peas & cook 3-5 minutes to heat through.
