Steak, Peas & Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 T. butter
  • 1 T. oil
  • 3 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut into pieces
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can tomatoes (1 lb, 12 oz)
  • 6 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 t. oregano
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas, defrosted but not cooked

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pan, heat the butter & oil. Season the steak with the salt & pepper & brown evenly in pan. Stir in garlic & tomatoes. Cover, simmer about 45 minutes. Add the potatoes and oregano. Simmer till potatoes are tender. Stir in peas & cook 3-5 minutes to heat through.
