Nonnie's Nog

Nannie's Nog is a boozy, creamy concoction that is perfect for sipping under the mistletoe or while chatting with friends and loved ones around a roaring fire. This eggnog recipe is a classic and is sure to please all of your guests at your next holiday party.
Ingredients
- 7 eggs, separate the yolks and whites
- 1 1/2 cups Wild Turkey 101 bourbon
- 2 cups whole milk
- 7 heaping tablespoons sugar
- 1 pint heavy cream
- nutmeg, to garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Beat egg yolks until they are lemon colored. Gradually add the bourbon to the yolks, beating vigorously until well-combined. Mixture will thicken. Then, add milk. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Add sugar to the egg whites and continue beating. Add egg white mixture to the yolk mixture. In a separate bowl, beat cream until stiff. Add cream to mixture, folding in gradually. Store in refrigerator overnight. It will separate slightly. To serve, reincorporate gently with a wooden spoon until the eggnog is thick and creamy.
