Vodka cream sauce linguine

  • 3 Tbs olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
  • 20 leaves basil
  • 2/3 C Vodka
  • 1 pound linguine
  • 1/4 C Heavy cream



Step 1

1. Heat oil and garlic in a deep saucepan over med heat. Add tomatoes and heat through. Stir in basil leaves. When basil wilts, stir in vodka and bring to a boil. reduce heat to low.
2. Simmer until pasta is done cooking. When drain pasta add the cream to the sauce. toss with the pasta and serve
