Ingredients
- 1 pork shoulder roast
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 onion cut into rings
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 whole clove
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 tbs. soy sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Salt & pepper roast. Broil 20 minutes to remove fat. Place roast & remaining ingredients in crock-pot. Cover & cook on high for 1 hour. Switch to low & cook for 10 hours. Remove as much fat from juice as possible, thicken & serve with mashed potatoes.
