  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 12 oz. bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 stack of saltine crackers
  • 1 cup crushed nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray cookie sheet with sides with a non stick spray. Lay crackers on cookie sheet covering the entire bottom. Over medium/high heat bring butter and sugar to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Mixture will be thick and white. Spread butter mixture over crackers. Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over the crackers using a spoon to smooth the melted chocolate. Sprinkle nuts over the chocolate. Freeze overnight and then break into pieces.
