Ingredients
- Topping:
- 10 -11 cups sliced peeled baking apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup packed bown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup cold butter or margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Place apples in greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Combine sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples.
Combine flour, brown sugar, oats, baking powder, nutmeg & remaining cinnamon; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender.
