Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg dates (7-8oz) chopped dates
  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine in saucepan, add sugar and dates, cool slightly. Add egg and vanilla. Boil gently for 7 or 8 mins. Add Rice Krispies, let cool, form into balls, roll in crushed Rice Krispies. Let stand on waxed paper for several hours. Store in refrigerator.
