Tomato Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 French Baguette (18") cut into 3/4" slices
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 can Hunt's Petite Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread slices on baking sheet. Brushe tops of bread with 2 Tbs of olive oil. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Combine drained tomatoes, remaining 2 Tbs of olive oil, basil, garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Divide tomato mixture evenly over toasted bread. Serve immediately.
