Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 4 slices bacon, cooked until crisp, drained and crumbled
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/8 cup pure maple syrup
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a small bowl combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and bacon and mix well.
2. In a separate small bowl combine the milk, egg, oil and maple syrup and mix until thoroughly combined.
3. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and stir until just blended. The batter may be slightly lumpy.
4. Line the Emeril by T-fal Pie & Cake Maker with cupcake liners and plug in the machine. Once the green ready light is lit, divide the mixture evely among the wells, about 1/3 cup of the batter each. Cook until muffins are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 10 minutes. Remove the muffins and serve warm.
