Ingredients
- 1 1/4 flour (8 1/4 oz)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 large ripe bananas -- save one for topping
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 8 Tbsp butter melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup walnuts toasted and chopped
- 2 tsp sugar

Step 1
If not forzen, let drain and heat liquid until there's 1/2 liquid and pour into banana mix.
whisk flour, baking soda salt
mash bananas and whisk in brown sugar, melted butter, eggs and vanilla
pour into flour mixture and stir
foldin walnuts if using
pour into pan and
slice banana diagonally and line down each side of the top, leaing center free to ensure it's rise
sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over loaf
bake until toothpick comes out clean
let it cool for 10 mins.
remove and cool completely
cam be stored at room temp for up to three days
