SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 T onion
  • 1 egg
  • pepper
  • 4 T cornstarch
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c pineapple juice
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 c and 2 T water
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 3 T vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix beef, egg, 1 T cornstarch, salt, onion & pepper. Make 20 meatballs. Brown in oil; put on plate. Add pineapple juice to oil and cook low heat few minutes (boil and simmer) Mix 3 T cornstarch, soy & vinegar and water and sugar. Put in pan and cook until thick. Add meatballs, pineapple and heat through.
