BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

  • BBQ sauce:
  • 2 rib racks
  • lemon, sliced
  • onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbs. worchestershire
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbs. paprika
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup catsup

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients for BBQ sauce and cook over stove for 15 minutes.

Cut rib rack into 2-3 rib pieces. Place pieces in pan and top with a lemon slice on each piece. Top these with chopped onions and salt and pepper.

Bake at 450 for 30 minutes (basting with BBQ sauce every 15 minutes). Lower temp to 350 and continue baking for another 60-90 minutes until tender, with continuous basting every 15 minutes.

Serve over jasmine rice.
