Pork Apple and Cheddar Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup coarsely grated white sharp cheddar cheese (Kraft package)
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small granny smith apple, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 small onion grated
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste



Step 1

Preheat the broiler. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and grease with butter. In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients. Shape into 16 meatballs and arrange on the baking sheet. Broil the meatballs until golden and cooked through, 8-10 minutes.

Left over meatballs can be frozen.
