Ingredients

  • 6 med. pears, pealed, cored, and sliced
  • 1/3 cup red wine
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange pears in a greased 8X8" pan
Pour Wine and lemon juice over pears
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly
Spread over pears and pat down firmly
Bake at 375 for 40 min or until pears pears are tender
Serve Warm
Serve with whipped cream
