Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp. potato flakes
  • 2 tsp. Just Whites
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. egg replacer
  • 2 1/4 tsp. yeast
  • 3/4 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. honey
  • 3 cups high-protein gluten-free flour
  • 1/3 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat 1 ½ cups water in the microwave for 90 seconds
2. Thoroughly mix 1 tbsp. potato flakes and 2 tsp. Just Whites into the heated water
3. Cut 1 stick margarine into 16 equal portions (cut the stick into four pieces, then cut each piece in half, and then cut each piece in half again) and melt for 45 seconds in the microwave
4. Pour potato flake/egg white mixture into the bread pan followed by the melted margarine
5. Crack four eggs into the bowl used to melt the margarine and pour into the bread pan
6. Measure 2 ¼ tsp. xanthan gum, ¾ tsp. salt, and 1 ½ tsp. egg replacer into a ramekin
7. Measure 2 ¼ tsp. yeast into a separate ramekin
8. Pour ¾ tsp. white vinegar into the bread pan
9. Pour 1 ½ tbsp. honey into the bread pan
10. Add 1 ½ cups flour (high-protein) to the bread pan
11. Add the xanthan gum/salt/egg replacer mix to the bread pan
12. Add another 1 ½ cups flour to the bread pan
13. Add 1/3 cup almond meal to the bread pan
14. Add ½ cup brown sugar to the bread pan
15. Add the yeast to the bread pan
16. Place bread pan in bread machine
17. Start bread machine
18. Wait 3 ½ hours
19. Celebrate a perfectly baked loaf!
