Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp lemon extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 cups plain flour
Preparation
Step 1
Stir with a spoon all of the above ingredients.
Pat out in a flat pan the size of a cookie sheet... pat out thin about 1/4 " thick.
Beat egg white and spread on top.
Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans and press into dough.
Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
(Note: My cookie sheet: 9" X 12" cooking time 25 minutes)
Cut immediately into squares
