Rum Cake Glaze
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of rum
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in water and sugar, and bring to a boil. .. .boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly
Remove from heat, and stir in rum.
Use Shish Kabob skewers to poke holes in top of cake.
Slowly drizzle glaze evenly over top of cake. Let some soak in and add more holes if needed and repeat until all glaze is used - its okay if some glaze goes down the side of the cake.
