Ingredients
- 1 lb white or whole wheat pasta (elbows)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Ritz Crackers (enough to cover top)

Step 1
Boil water - add pasta & cook until al dente
While pasta is cooking - finely dice small onion & melt butter;
When pasta is done - add to a baking dish;
Add onion, cheese (use different cheeses preferable to your taste);
Add butter;
Put egg in a shaker or bowl & whisk, then add milk to the egg & whisk together, then add salt & paper to mixture and pour over pasta - mix together.
Take Ritz crackers and crush them. Sprinkle them over the top of the pasta - and a few pads of butter if you wish and put into a 350 degree oven for approximately 35 - 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
