Ingredients

  • 4

    pounds peeled and chopped Golden Delicious apples

  • 3/4

    cup sugar,

  • 1/2

    cup golden raisins,

  • 3/4

    cup water,

  • 1/4

    cup lemon juice,

  • 2

    tablespoons spiced rum,

  • 1/4

    teaspoon salt

Directions

Boil 4 pounds peeled and chopped Golden Delicious apples with 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup golden raisins, 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 tablespoons spiced rum, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a large pot.
