Step 1

PUT VODKA IN A LARGE JAR FITTED WITH A LID.
WASH AND DRY LEMONS, PEEL OFF THE ZEST
AND PUT INTO THE VODKA. MIX INGREDIENTS
THEN PUT THE LID ON AND STORE FOR 5 OR 6
DAYS. THEN COMBINE THE SUGAR AND WATER
IN A SAUCEPAN AND BOIL UNTIL THICKENED,
ABOUT 5 MINUTES. LET COOL, THEN STRAIN INTO
THE VODKA MIXTURE.
