Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients
- Corned Beef Brisket with seasoning packet
- 4 small to medium onions quartered
- 6 medium carrots halved
- 5-6 potatoes, halved, (leave skin on)
- 1 cabbage cut into wedges

Preparation
Step 1
Place corned beef brisket in Dutch oven on top of stove and cover with water.
Bring to aboil - covered.
Reduce to a simmer - continue to simmer covered for 2 1/2 hours or until done.
Remove meat from pot and cover with foil
Add onions, carrots, and potatoes
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes
Add cabbage to the other vegetables in the pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until cabbage is tender.
