Ingredients

  • 2 T margarine
  • 1 Medium onion, thinly sliced in rings
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 t dried basil
  • 1/4 t crushed red peppers
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts cut into pieces
  • 4 (80z) linguine
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Melt margarine in 13" X 9" X 2" baking dish (in preheated oven)
Remove pan from oven and stir in garlic, basil, and red pepper.
Stir chicken pieces in margarine mixture to coat chicken.
Stir in onion.
Spread in pan and bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes.

While chicken is cooking, cook linguine according to package directions (without oil).

Drain and toss pasta, chicken, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
