Best Baked Beans - Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 large cans pork and beans (or four small)
  • 1 1/2 cups maple syrup
  • 1 cup catchup
  • 1 pkg. bacon
  • additional syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain and discard liquid from pork and beans. Pour beans, catsup, and syrup into 9x13 pan.

Cut strips of bacon in half, lay across the top of beans. Pour additional syrup on the bacon so the bacon blackens. Bake at 350° for 2 hours, or until mixture is thickened. Bacon should be darkened. Spoon off any excess oil.
