Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Cake:
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup hazelnut flavored liquor
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
- Topping:
- 1-1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
1. Combine crumbs, sugar and melted butter.
2. Press into bottom of a buttered 9" springform pan.
3. Wrap outside of pan with aluminum foil.
Cake:
4. Beat cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed until well blended.
5. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
6. Blend in liqueur and nuts; pour over crust.
7. Place springform pan in larger pan with at least 1" sides.
8. Fill pan with 1/2" very hot water.
9. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Topping:
10. Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla; carefully spread over cheesecake.
11. Cool at room temperature before removing rim.
12. Chill overnight.
