Skillet Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 t. garlic
  • 6 oz. mini lasagna, uncooked
  • 28 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 1 /2c. water
  • 12 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 oz. Italian cheese blend shredded cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef in 12" skillet. Drain and return to skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Add onion and garlic. Cook 5-8 minutes.

Add uncooked noodles, spaghetti sauce and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 15-17 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese and Italian cheese blend. Spoon over beef and noodles. Cover and cook 5-7 minutes.

Remove from heat. Uncover and let stand 5 minutes.
