Ingredients

  • 1 TBS OLIVE OIL
  • 1 TBS BUTTER
  • 1/2 CHOPPED ONION
  • 1/2 TSP RED PEPPER FLAKES
  • 1 CLOVE OF GARLIC FINELY CHOPPED OR USE 1 TSP MINCED GARLIC
  • 3 CUPS OF CHICKEN STOCK
  • 2- 14 OZ CANS OF TOMATOES
  • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil and butter and sauté onions for 2 minutes
Add pepper flakes and garlic cook for 1 minute
Add greens and cook for 1 minute
Add stock, bring to a simmer and cook for about 40 minutes.
Add tomatoes and salt and pepper. Cook until warmed through.
