Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbs chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 clove, minced garlic
  • 4 1/2- 5 lb beef brisket
  • 1 1/4 C ketchup
  • 1/4 C apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs worcestershire

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix the first 6 ingredients together, rub on the brisket, then transfer to slow cooker. Combine 3/4 ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire in another small bowl. pour over the brisket along with 3/4 C water. Cover and cook low 8 hrs
2. Remove brisket and let rest 10 min. Stir in remaining 1/2 C ketchup.
