Granola

Ingredients

  • 6-8 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond slices
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup flax meal, optional
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Maple syrup or honey
  • 1/3 cup Coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup water, optional--if needed

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
2. Melt Coconut oil in large glass measuring cup placed in pan of hot water. Stir in Maple syrup & vanilla.
3. Drizzle over dry ingredients, then mix in thoroughly.
4. Spread evenly on parchment paper lined rimmed baking pans.
5. Bake 300 for about an hour, stirring twice during baking.
6. Cool the granola, then store in airtight container.
