Ingredients
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips or 9 oz. god dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 2 cups rolled oats (not quick cook or instant)
- 1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup dark raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla.
Combine the baking soda, salt and flour and stir into creamed mixture.
Add oatmeal and chocolate chips and stir until well blended. Add pecans and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
