Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients

• 4 tablespoons catsup
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
• 2 tablespoons dry white wine
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine catsup, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, and wine in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the cornstarch dissolved in water to sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened.
