Spareribs in Honey Sauce 0 Picture


  • 3 pounds pork spareribs
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 level tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup white stock r water and chicken stock cube

Step 1

Cut spareribs into individual ribs or ask your butcher to do this for you. Place ribs in roasting pan.

Heat oil in a saucepan and fry onion and garlic until softened but not browned. Stir in all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour sauce over ribs and cook in a 325 degree oven for 1-1/2 hours, basting frequently. Drain off the sauce and serve hot.
