Ingredients

  • 4

    c white bread, cut into cubes (OR USE CINNAMON BREAD)

  • 5

    eggs

  • 1

    egg yolk

  • 1

    c milk

  • 2

    c heavy whipping cream

  • ¾

    c pumpkin puree, canned

  • 1

    c sugar

  • ¼

    t salt

  • 1

    TBS rum or brandy

  • ¼

    t nutmeg

  • 1

    t cinnamon

  • ¼

    t ground cloves

  • 1

    Tbs butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. butter 13x9x2 baking pan. Dry bread cubes on cookie sheet in 350 oven for 10-15 minutes. Place dried bread cubes in buttered pan. In large mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients except butter. Pour mixture over bread cubes. Let sit for 10 minutes to make sure bread is fully soaked. Dab butter over top. Bake 40-50 minutes (Pudding should be set in center, but not dry). Can be topped with whipped cream! FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
